Well, here we go!!!

I decided to start this blog after we realized how "therapeutic" journaling is!! I always knew it was and occasionally I would try to start journaling but never stayed up on it. When we went thru the medical crisis with Molly, we started a CAring Bridge website at the encouragement of the hospital staff. It was amazing to see the outpouring of support we received! And now that the worst is behind us, what a beautiful thing we have now to share with Molly someday as we begin to tell her of her journey with her heart!
Now I began to think that all our kids should have something to keep as they get older. We have so much to say and remember about our family. David is such a funny writer so this could be his avenue to start writing!! So with that, we begin!!

Still feeling anxious about the HealthBeat interview yesterday with Molly. I so wish they didn't put in the part when I cried. But thinking back, I really think they wanted the focus to be on "Mother's Intuition" and us believing in miracles. It was a pretty cool interview I guess. Something else to show Molly later! Today was a pretty good day! Ben's attitude stayed up most of the day. We stayed up late last night trying to put his new electric scooter together. It was not going together right so today, because David is out of town, he went over and asked Neighbor Bob to help him. Of course Bob was thrilled, because he said he was getting out of planting flowers! ha! they got it together and Ben was riding it all day! ....that is until I broke the news to hime that he had to mow! His friend sam had just come over and he reluctantly finished the job with minimal complaints. I went and picked up Sam from the birthday party and we all went to church. Sam decided that he didn't have to be quiet in church so after church, he got to sit in church alone for awhile thinking aabout how he should act...then continued his "thinking" in his room at home. He managed to pull himself together and the night was great!
I am still working on laundry...only 2 more loads to go!! David, Zach and Dominic are in Rapid City for the State Cup Tourney. Zach is doing well...they have one more team then they make it to regionals!
I am trying so hard to lose this weight!! Nothing fits me and the weather is getting warmer so having shorts that fit would be nice! All in good time I suppose! As I have said before, PATIENCE!!! I need to work on that! Well good night!!
